Getting ready for 2011

Preparations for the 26th Mulund Durga Puja have begun. The planning for this year's autumn celebrations began with our first Durga Puja meeting for 2011 on 7th Aug at our new club premises.

The Invitation Card and the Souvenir Ad Booking Form have been printed. The "Souvenir" is an inseparable part of our autumn celebrations. It is a book that is unveiled during the Durga Puja. It contains details about our programmes, interesting articles and messages from well-wishers. The Souvenir is not sold but distributed among our patrons, visitors and sponsors.

Putting your message in the Souvenir is a great way of reaching out to hundreds of people in Mulund & neighbouring suburbs, especially the Bengali-speaking community.

We will soon finalize the contents and design of this year's Souvenir. For more details or to place your ad message in the souvenir, write to us at biac.mulund@gmail.com or call Subal Kumar Saha on +91-9820671275 by 30th Aug'11.

Saraswati Puja Celebrated with Devotion and Gaiety

It was a beautiful sunny day. Devotees gathered in the outdoor pandal and prayed to the Goddess of Learning. They partook of  prasad and bhog after pushpanjali. Some toddlers were initiated into the world of Writing through 'Hatey Khori'. The day's worship culminated in the evening arati.

DNA carried a report on our Saraswati Puja in today's edition (9th Feb., 2011).
